My work has taken two paths. One path centers around my own personal, private relationship to the power of a story, fable or myth; a relationship that includes nostalgia and some unidentified ingredients I’ll never quite make sense of. But I try. I depict scenes or moments from larger stories, imagine the parts of a whole, perhaps incomplete, personal stories are answered.

My second path is public facing, public embracing. I have worked with bookshop owners, neighborhood committees, city counsels, and national institutions in public art collaborations. Whether it is a small quiet bench designed for comfort, or a large scale refugee installation, the intent is always the same - commune with you, the public, for a moment or a life time.
